AI can help you find a direction, work through sources and improve a difficult draft. It cannot take responsibility for your research. Grongy AI is designed around that distinction: the tool can assist, but you remain the author and your institution’s rules always come first.

Appropriate ways to use Grongy AI

• Improving clarity, grammar and flow while reviewing each suggested change before accepting it.
• Preparing an editable statement that discloses how AI supported your work.

Guardrails built into the product

• Generated citations are limited to identifiable sources in your project library. The model is not asked to invent a reference when the library cannot support a claim.
• We do not offer a humanizer, detector-bypass mode or a command to make AI writing “undetectable”.
• Review and rewrite tools present changes for you to accept or reject; an AI-use disclosure helper is available in the bibliography workspace.

What remains your responsibility

• Check your university, programme and supervisor’s policy before using AI in assessed work.
• Read the original publications and confirm that every citation supports the sentence in which it appears.
• Verify facts, quotations, statistics, interpretations and methodological details. Do not enter findings, participants or procedures that did not exist in your research.
• Disclose AI assistance whenever your institution requires it—or whenever you are unsure.
• Revise the final text until you understand it and can defend every claim in it.

A disclosure is a starting point, not automatic permission

Grongy AI can draft a disclosure statement based on the features you used. You should edit it so it is accurate and follows your institution’s preferred wording. A disclosure does not make a prohibited use acceptable, and the generated statement is not legal or academic approval.
