Chat & AI models
- Ask your library in AI Chat — grounded answers that cite only your sources.
- Choose your model: Standard, plus frontier models (Claude Opus 4.8, Claude Sonnet 5, GPT-5.6, Gemini, Grok) for the hard questions.
- Sources menu: mix Library, live Web search (real papers from OpenAlex) and General knowledge — with clear flagging when an answer isn't from your library.
Library & sources
- Upload a PDF and Grongy identifies it automatically — title, authors, year and journal — Mendeley-style, verified against OpenAlex/Crossref.
- Full-text PDF search and an in-app reader.
Writing & citations
- 10 citation styles — APA, MLA, Chicago, Harvard, IEEE, ACS, Turabian, AMA, Vancouver, and a no-citation mode.
- Export to Word, PDF, LaTeX and Markdown; reference export in BibTeX and RIS.
- A4 page view, resizable panels, and equations rendered with KaTeX.
Accounts & plans
- Optional accounts (email or Google) — your documents still stay in your browser.
